While everyone was celebrating the physical space, I realized that the true milestone was something unspoken.
It was a celebration of their collective, consistent efforts over the years, a celebration of their shared vision and unwavering unity.
Working closely with these exceptional women entrepreneurs taught me 3 invaluable lessons about entrepreneurship:
1. Hard work pays off. It’s just a matter of time.
Success is a culmination of alignment.
You have to be the right person pursuing the right opportunity, alongside the right people, at exactly the right time.
2. Your vision must outgrow your current reality.
Greatness begins the moment you set a goal that feels impossible.
Impossible goals naturally eliminate distractions because they leave you with very few options.
By setting a massive target, you actually do yourself a favor: you force yourself to achieve absolute focus.
3. Never underestimate the power of unity.
It is entirely easier to accomplish major milestones when you have more than two brains and four arms working together.
Just like superheroes in comic books, the bigger the challenge, the bigger the team you need.
To accomplish a giant goal, you require a powerful team driven by a single-minded focus.
I am already looking forward to their next milestone. What they have accomplished today isn't the finish line. It is merely the starting line.
